Sridevi Banka is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a diverse educational and clinical background. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Microbiology from Kakatiya University in India. She later studied nursing at University of Cincinnati and went on to work as a psychiatric Registered Nurse at Atascadero State Hospital. Sridevi also served at Mills Peninsula Medical Center, an inpatient hospital where she worked with patients with acute psychiatric conditions, including chemical dependency and psychiatric emergencies. Sridevi furthered her passion for psychiatric healing by attending University of California San Francisco, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric care.
Sridevi has extensive training and experience in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for a variety of psychiatric disorders, including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, and psychotic disorders. Sridevi’s philosophy of care consists of using a multifaceted evidence-based approach that includes physical, emotional, and social factors to tailor treatment plans specific to each individual. Her passion for helping others motivates her to continue providing empathetic, ethical, and evidence-based psychiatric care to her patients.
